CSI Alampara
CSI Alampara is a church under the big community Church of South India. The church comes under South Kerala Diocese, Parasuvaikal District. It has more than 100 years of rich heritage.
The faithful beginning
The church was constructed as a thanks offering to Jesus by a group of hard working people in the field, for rescuing them miraculously from a huge wind. The place was owned by Mr. Harris Writer who gave it for building the church upon the people's request. Also he arranged the first priest for the church.

Growing with more people
As time went, more and more families were added to the church by god. People grew together in god.
Other activities
Fellowships like Sunday school, CEYF(Church endeavor youth felloship), JCEYF(Junior Church endeavor fellowship) and Women's Fellowship are being held regularly. These fellowships act as mean of adjoining people to Jesus. Good Shepherd's Nursary & Primary school is a an organization governed by the church.
